This customer had a vision of elevating their Ford F-450 to a whole new level of awesomeness, and they definitely came to the right place!
To ensure that this truck would truly stand out, we embarked on an impressive customization journey. We started by outfitting it with a BDS lift kit, eye-catching 18″ American Force wheels, formidable Nitto Ridge Grappler 35” tires, and upgraded Recon headlights and tail lights. We didn’t stop there; we added custom trim blackout and trac bars to give it that extra touch of individuality. The transformation from its stock form was already striking, but our customer was hungry for something even more imposing and commanding.
The DBL Designer Lifted F-450
Enter the second phase of this remarkable build, where the initial transformation seemed like child’s play. We went all out with an aggressive Fab Fours front bumper that not only provides protection but also accommodates an XBull electric winch and RIGID fog lights. In the rear, a Westin light bar adds to the truck’s formidable presence. The bumper and grill perfectly complement the DBL Designer fender flares, which serve both style and functionality. These massive flares effectively keep road debris at bay, ensuring those massive 40″ Goodyear tires wrapped around 20″ DBL Designer forged aluminum heavy-duty wheels remain in pristine condition.
We took things up a notch by swapping out the BDS lift kit for a CJC Offroad Carli 4.5″ Pintop lift kit with weld-on trusses. To handle the power under load, we installed a DBL Designer differential and an Eaton Elocker on the Dana 60 axle. This means the truck can seamlessly transition from a fully open differential to a locked position with just a flip of a dashboard switch. With these enhancements in place, this rig is a true monster, capable of conquering seriously rugged terrain or effortlessly towing heavy equipment on the road.
